More than 70% of Malaysian voters went to the polls last November to choose the members of the new Parliament. Thus, the historic results came out with the leadership of the ” Pakatan Harapan ” led by Anwar Ibrahim, who became prime minister after four years in which three successive governments took place. In these lines, light will be shed on the course of the political, economic and social reality that led to these outputs and expectations regarding the future of the Malaysian political system.
